The Choice Is Yours, In Reality and In Life - ENJOY IT!

The Choice Is Yours, In Reality and In Life - ENJOY IT! I made the decision early last year to enjoy life. To not let anything get to me anymore.

I meet tens of thousands of brides every year at the Tacoma, Bellevue and Lynnwood Wedding Expos and over in Hawaii at the Hawaii Bridal Expo. I challenge them constantly to enjoy the process. Enjoy life!

We are all a great big family. At a wedding we participate in this reality by celebrating the uniting of husband and wife. We get together and we throw a big party as a family.

The last several months have awakened me! Im sure that it is safe to say we have been nervous, worried, and little scared about all the changes and uncertainty.

But I choose to be inspired, Why...? I look at this time to celebrate a new dawn. The coming of change.... whatever the outcome. We need to turn to each other, talk to friends, and families - we're all part of several families and "friends are the family we choose for ourselves". Celebrate the differences in yourself and those around you. Enjoy the life you are living and those you are living it with!

May we all be grateful for what we have and celebrate by sharing even more.

Enjoy Life!

Valentine's Day 2008

Happyvalentinesday Wow. It's already Valentine's Day? With so many bridal shows last month it seems like yesterday was New Year's Day.But for those that celebrated a Valentine's Day wedding, Thursday will be a very big day for you!

Make it special with all the regular (read expected) things such as:

  • Flowers
  • Chocolate
  • Jewelry

Or personalize it by giving your spouse something they don't normally get such as:

  • Breakfast in bed
  • A bed of goodies [link]
  • A "vacation day from work" spent together
  • Get creative on "going out"
  • An overnight vacation to a 5-star hotel -- get pampered at the spa!

Whatever you do, get creative. Romance begins with a sweet thought!

Las Vegas Gears Up for Valentine's Day Weddings

Happy_valentines_day Las Vegas has long been the place for couples in love to wed, whether planned ahead or not, and because it's so easy to marry at the last minute it has become the go-to place for eloping as well.

As we approach Valentine's Day this week, the hottest day in weddings in Las Vegas, one must wonder how many couples will marry on Wednesday, February 14. With some statistics showing that 5x the amount of brides marry on Valentine's Day in Vegas than any other day and other stats showing that more than 130,000 weddings occur in Las Vegas each year, my rough calculations say that nearly 2,000 weddings will happen on Wednesday. That's almost 100 wedding per minute.

Keep in mind the new hours for obtaining a marriage licence in Las Vegas.

Tom and Katie Wedding Date Set

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have finally set a wedding date for November 18 in Italy. Holmes will be wearing a Giorgio Armani wedding dress and Tom will be decked out I'm sure.

The couple have been one of the most searched couples on the Internet this year with details of a family fight that close friends incorrectly thought would end the relationship last Christmas season. Then came Suri, the most talked about baby of 2006, whose picture took several weeks to appear which had some speculating that the baby was never born. Now they have the challenge of trying to trump Nicole and Keith's Aussie wedding to garner even more media attention.

Beyonce Shoots Down Wedding Rumors

Beyonce_ellen From the lips of Beyonce, "I'm not engaged. It's a big fat rumor."

On stage with Ellen, Beyonce sets it straight that she and Jay-Z are not engaged and planning to get married in November. I'm thinking it's just a way of getting some privacy for the big day. However, she seemed very sincere about it.

On the flip-side, Charlotte Church is already planning to sell her wedding pictures for over $3 million and she's not even engaged. Now that's entrepreneurship.
